Hezekiah Reigns in Judah

18 ^(A)In the third year of Hoshea son of Elah, king of Israel, ^(B)Hezekiah the son of Ahaz, king of Judah, began to reign.

²⁷ And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem, for ^(A)they did not bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel. And Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.

Hezekiah Reigns in Judah

29 ^(B)Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Abijah^[a] the daughter of ^(C)Zechariah.

⁹ and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, ¹⁰ and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amos,^[a] and Amos the father of Josiah,

^13 (A)Ahaz his son, ^(B)Hezekiah his son, ^(C)Manasseh his son,

²⁰ And Ahaz slept with his fathers and ^(A)was buried with his fathers in the city of David, and Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.

Hoshea Reigns in Israel

17 In the twelfth year of Ahaz king of Judah, ^(B)Hoshea the son of Elah began to reign in Samaria over Israel, and he reigned nine years.
