^12 (A)Having many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, ^(B)that our joy may be full.

^13 (A)I had many things to write, but I do not wish to write to you with pen and ink; ¹⁴ but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face.

Peace to you. Our friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.

⁴ And these things we write to you ^(A)that ^[a]your joy may be full.

¹³ But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

²⁴ Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, ^(A)that your joy may be ^(B)full.
