21 (A)For our sake he made him to be sin (B)who knew no sin, so that in him we might become (C)the righteousness of God.

(D)Working together with him, then, (E)we appeal to you (F)not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says,

(G)“In a favorable time I listened to you,
and in a day of salvation I have helped you.”

Behold, (H)now is the (I)favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

21 God made him who had no sin(A) to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.(B)

As God’s co-workers(C) we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.(D) For he says,

“In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.”[b](E)

I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
