2 Corinthians 5:21-6:2

²¹^(A)For our sake he made him to be sin ^(B)who knew no sin, so that in him we might become ^(C)the righteousness of God.

6 ^(D)Working together with him, then, ^(E)we appeal to you ^(F)not to receive the grace of God in vain. ²For he says,

^(G)“In a favorable time I listened to you,
and in a day of salvation I have helped you.”

Behold, ^(H)now is the ^(I)favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

²¹God made him who had no sin^(A) to be sin^[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.^(B)

6 As God’s co-workers^(C) we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.^(D) ²For he says,

“In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.”^[b]^(E)

I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
