²⁰ We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

² The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same things to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.

¹⁶ By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

¹⁷ In this, love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so we are in this world.
