2 Corinthians 10:7-10
New American Standard Bible 1995
7 [a](A)You are looking at [b]things as they are outwardly. (B)If anyone is confident in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again within himself, that just as he is Christ’s, (C)so also are we. 8 For even if (D)I boast somewhat [c]further about our (E)authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be put to shame, 9 [d]for I do not wish to seem as if I would terrify you by my letters. 10 For they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his [e]personal presence is (F)unimpressive and (G)his speech contemptible.”

New International Version
7 You are judging by appearances.[a](A) If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ,(B) they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do.(C) 8 So even if I boast somewhat freely about the authority the Lord gave us(D) for building you up rather than tearing you down,(E) I will not be ashamed of it. 9 I do not want to seem to be trying to frighten you with my letters. 10 For some say, “His letters are weighty and forceful, but in person he is unimpressive(F) and his speaking amounts to nothing.”(G)
