^2 (A)When you pass through the waters, ^(B)I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you ^(C)walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.

^8 (A)Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
^(B)When I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
The Lord will be a light to me.

^24 (A)Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.

^16 (A)For a righteous man may fall seven times
And rise again,
^(B)But the wicked shall fall by calamity.
