³ All the sons of Israel, seeing the fire come down and the glory of the Lord upon the house, bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave praise to the Lord, saying, “^(A)Truly He is good, truly His lovingkindness is everlasting.”

^11 (A)They sang, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, saying, “^(B)For He is good, for His lovingkindness is upon Israel forever.” And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.
