14 They set to work and removed (A)the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for burning incense they took away (B)and threw into the brook Kidron. 15 (C)And they slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month. (D)And the priests and the Levites were ashamed, (E)so that they consecrated themselves and brought burnt offerings into the house of the Lord. 16 (F)They took their accustomed posts according to the Law of Moses (G)the man of God. The priests threw the blood that they received from the hand of the Levites.

14 They removed the altars(A) in Jerusalem and cleared away the incense altars and threw them into the Kidron Valley.(B)

15 They slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and the Levites were ashamed and consecrated(C) themselves and brought burnt offerings to the temple of the Lord. 16 Then they took up their regular positions(D) as prescribed in the Law of Moses the man of God. The priests splashed against the altar the blood handed to them by the Levites.
