Hezekiah Celebrates the Passover

30 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of Yahweh at Jerusalem to ^[a]celebrate the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel.

^6 (A)And the ^[a]couriers went throughout all Israel and Judah with the letters from the hand of the king and his princes, even according to the commandment of the king, saying, “O sons of Israel, return to Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that He may return to those of you who escaped and remain from ^(B)the ^[b]hand of the kings of Assyria.

The Feast of Purim Is Established

²⁰ Then Mordecai wrote down these events, and he sent letters to all the Jews who were in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, both near and far,

²⁵ “Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Because you have sent ^(A)letters in your own name to all the people who are in Jerusalem and to ^(B)Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, and to all the priests, saying,
