¹⁰ Then Asa was vexed with the seer and put him in ^[a]prison, for he was enraged at him for this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.

²⁵ Then the king of Israel said, “^(A)Take Micaiah and return him to Amon ^(B)the ruler of the city and to Joash the king’s son; ²⁶ and say, ‘Thus says the king, “^(C)Put this man in prison and feed him ^[a]sparingly with bread and water until I return safely.”’” ²⁷ And Micaiah said, “If you indeed return safely, Yahweh has not spoken by me.” And he said, “^(D)Listen, all you people.”
