2 Chronicles 14:3-5
New Life Version
3 For he put away the strange altars and high places. He tore down the pillars used in worship of false gods. And he cut down the false goddesses, the Asherim. 4 He told Judah to follow the Lord God of their fathers, and to obey the Laws. 5 He put the high places and the altars of special perfume away from all the cities of Judah. And the nation had rest under his rule.

New International Version
3 He removed the foreign altars(A) and the high places, smashed the sacred stones(B) and cut down the Asherah poles.[a](C) 4 He commanded Judah to seek the Lord,(D) the God of their ancestors, and to obey his laws and commands. 5 He removed the high places(E) and incense altars(F) in every town in Judah, and the kingdom was at peace under him.
