¹¹ Then Asa ^(A)called to Yahweh his God and said, “Yahweh, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between those of abundant power and those who have no power; so help us, O Yahweh our God, ^(B)for we lean on You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O Yahweh, You are our God; let not mortal man prevail against You.”

⁷ “^(A)Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria nor because of all the multitude that is with him; ^(B)for the one with us is greater than the one with him. ⁸ With him is only ^(C)an arm of flesh, but ^(D)with us is Yahweh our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were sustained by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
