¹⁶And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David, and ^(A)Abijah^[a] his son reigned in his place.

13 ^(B)In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, ^(C)Abijah began to reign over Judah.

¹⁶Rehoboam^(A) rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. And Abijah^(B) his son succeeded him as king.

13 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Jeroboam, Abijah became king of Judah,
