Shishak of Egypt Comes Against Judah
12 (A)Now it happened that when the kingdom of Rehoboam was established and strong, (B)he and all Israel with him forsook the law of Yahweh. 2 (C)Now it happened in the fifth year of King Rehoboam, because they had been unfaithful to Yahweh, that (D)Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem 3 with 1,200 chariots and 60,000 horsemen. And the people who came with him from Egypt were without number: (E)the Lubim, the Sukkiim and the Ethiopians.

Shishak Attacks Jerusalem(A)
12 After Rehoboam’s position as king was established(B) and he had become strong,(C) he and all Israel[a](D) with him abandoned(E) the law of the Lord. 2 Because they had been unfaithful(F) to the Lord, Shishak(G) king of Egypt attacked Jerusalem in the fifth year of King Rehoboam. 3 With twelve hundred chariots and sixty thousand horsemen and the innumerable troops of Libyans,(H) Sukkites and Cushites[b](I) that came with him from Egypt,
