⁴ The Sea stood on twelve bulls, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east.^(A) The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center.

¹⁴ The wall of the city had twelve foundations,^(A) and on them were the names of the twelve apostles^(B) of the Lamb.

²⁰ built^(A) on the foundation^(B) of the apostles and prophets,^(C) with Christ Jesus himself^(D) as the chief cornerstone.^(E)

¹⁵ But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument^(A) to proclaim my name to the Gentiles^(B) and their kings^(C) and to the people of Israel.

⁴⁶ He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer^(A) and rise from the dead on the third day,^{(B) 47} and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name^(C) to all nations,^(D) beginning at Jerusalem.^(E)
