²³ Then the male goats for the sin offering were brought to the king and the assembly; they laid their hands on them,^(A)

¹⁵ The elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord, and the bull shall be slaughtered before the Lord.^(A)

²⁴ He shall lay his hand on the head of the goat; it shall be slaughtered at the spot where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the Lord; it is a purification offering.

⁴ You shall lay your hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be acceptable on your behalf as atonement for you.^(A)
