¹⁶ Or ^(A)do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “^(B)The two shall become one flesh.” ¹⁷ But the one who joins himself to the Lord is ^(C)one spirit with Him.

³ being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the ^(A)bond of peace.

¹³ until we all attain to ^(A)the unity of the faith, and of the ^[a](B)knowledge of the Son of God, to a ^(C)mature man, to the measure of the stature ^[b]which belongs to the ^(D)fullness of Christ.

⁵ For ^(A)if we have become ^[a]united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be ^[b]in the likeness of His resurrection,

¹⁰ Now ^(A)I urge you, ^(B)brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all ^[a]agree and that there be no ^[b](C)divisions among you, but that you be ^[c]made complete in ^(D)the same mind and in the same judgment.

Be like Christ

2 Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any ^(A)fellowship of the Spirit, if any ^[a](B)affection and compassion,

² that their ^(A)hearts may be encouraged, having been ^(B)knit together in love, and that they would attain to all ^(C)the wealth ^[a]that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a ^(D)true knowledge of ^(E)God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself,
