²² Do not lay hands on anyone hastily and do not take part in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

⁶ in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,

¹⁷ But the wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then also peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and sincere.

⁸ Come near to God, and he will come near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded people.

²² Since you have purified your souls by obeying the truth,^[a] resulting in sincere brotherly love, love one another constantly from a pure heart.
