1 Thessalonians 4:9-12
New Living Translation
9 But we don’t need to write to you about the importance of loving each other,[a] for God himself has taught you to love one another. 10 Indeed, you already show your love for all the believers[b] throughout Macedonia. Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you to love them even more.
11 Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. 12 Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.

1 Thessalonians 4:9-12
New English Translation
9 Now on the topic of brotherly love[a] you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another. 10 And indeed you are practicing it toward all the brothers and sisters[b] in all of Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more,[c] 11 to aspire to lead a quiet life, to attend to your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you. 12 In this way you will live[d] a decent life before outsiders and not be in need.[e]
