9 Now concerning (A)love of the brothers, you (B)have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are (C)taught by God to love one another, 10 for indeed (D)you do practice it toward all the brothers who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to (E)excel still more, 11 and to make it your ambition (F)to lead a quiet life and (G)attend to your own business and (H)work with your hands, just as we commanded you, 12 so that you will (I)walk properly toward (J)outsiders and [a](K)not be in any need.

But we exhort you, brethren, to do so more and more, 11 to aspire to live quietly, to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we charged you; 12 so that you may command the respect of outsiders, and be dependent on nobody.
