¹⁵ Thus Samuel ^(A)judged Israel all the days of his life. ¹⁶ And he used to go annually on circuit to ^(B)Bethel and ^(C)Gilgal and ^(D)Mizpah, and he judged Israel in all these places. ¹⁷ But his return would be to ^(E)Ramah, for his house was there, and there he judged Israel; and he ^(F)built there an altar to Yahweh.
