²So Saul took three thousand able young men from all Israel and set out to look^(A) for David and his men near the Crags of the Wild Goats.

²Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats.

¹⁸The high mountains belong to the wild goats;^(A)
the crags are a refuge for the hyrax.^(B)

¹⁸The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

¹⁹A loving doe, a graceful deer^(A)—
may her breasts satisfy you always,
may you ever be intoxicated with her love.

¹⁹Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
