8 (A)Be of sober spirit, (B)be on the alert. Your adversary, (C)the devil, prowls around like a roaring (D)lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 [a](E)So resist him, (F)firm in your faith, knowing that (G)the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your [b]brothers and sisters who are in the world. 10 After you have suffered (H)for a little while, the (I)God of all grace, who (J)called you to His (K)eternal glory in Christ, will Himself (L)perfect, (M)confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 11 (N)To Him be dominion forever and ever.
