5 (A)You younger men, likewise, (B)be subject to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with (C)humility toward one another, for (D)God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

6 Therefore (E)humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7 (F)casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

God resists the proud
but gives grace to the humble.[b](A)

Conclusion

6 Humble(B) yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand(C) of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time, 7 casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.(D)
