8 You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. 9 The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.

8 You[a] have not seen him, but you love him. You[b] do not see him now but you believe in him, and so you rejoice[c] with an indescribable and glorious[d] joy, 9 because you are attaining the goal of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
