1 Peter 1:22-25
New King James Version
The Enduring Word
22 Since you (A)have purified your souls in obeying the truth [a]through the Spirit in [b]sincere (B)love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 (C)having been born again, not of [c]corruptible seed but [d]incorruptible, (D)through the word of God which lives and abides [e]forever, 24 because
(E)“All flesh is as grass,
And all [f]the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers,
And its flower falls away,
25 (F)But the [g]word of the Lord endures forever.”
(G)Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

1 Peter 1:22-25
American Standard Version
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another [a]from the heart fervently: 23 having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of [b]God, which liveth and abideth. 24 For,
[c]All flesh is as grass,
And all the glory thereof as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower falleth:
25 But the [d]word of the Lord abideth for ever.
And this is the [e]word of good tidings which was [f]preached unto you.
