1 Peter 1:17-21
Legacy Standard Bible
17 And if you (A)address as Father the One who (B)impartially (C)judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves [a](D)in fear during the time of your (E)sojourn, 18 knowing that you were not [b](F)redeemed with corruptible things like silver or gold from your (G)futile conduct inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious (H)blood, as of a (I)lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. 20 He was (J)foreknown before (K)the foundation of the world, but (L)appeared [c]in these last times (M)for the sake of you 21 who through Him are (N)believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and (O)gave Him glory, so that your faith and (P)hope are in God.

1 Peter 1:17-21
Revised Standard Version
17 And if you invoke as Father him who judges each one impartially according to his deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile. 18 You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your fathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 20 He was destined before the foundation of the world but was made manifest at the end of the times for your sake. 21 Through him you have confidence in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.[a]
