Legacy Standard Bible
17 And if you (A)address as Father the One who (B)impartially (C)judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves [a](D)in fear during the time of your (E)sojourn, 18 knowing that you were not [b](F)redeemed with corruptible things like silver or gold from your (G)futile conduct inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious (H)blood, as of a (I)lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. 20 He was (J)foreknown before (K)the foundation of the world, but (L)appeared [c]in these last times (M)for the sake of you 21 who through Him are (N)believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and (O)gave Him glory, so that your faith and (P)hope are in God.

American Standard Version
17 And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear: 18 knowing that ye were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers; 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, even the blood of Christ: 20 who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested at the end of the times for your sake, 21 who through him are believers in God, that raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God.
