Micaiah Prophesies Against Ahab(A)

22 And there were three years without war between Aram and Israel. In the third year, Jehoshaphat king of Judah went to visit the king of Israel. The king of Israel said to his servants, “You know that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, but we have done nothing to take it out of the hand of the king of Aram!”

And he said to Jehoshaphat, “Will you go with me to battle Ramoth Gilead?”

And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”

22 And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel. And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel. And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth-gilead is ours, and we [a]are still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria? And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramoth-gilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.
