19 A Mikaja nastavi: »Slušaj sad poruku od BOGA. Vidio sam BOGA kako sjedi na svom prijestolju, a cijela mu nebeska vojska stoji zdesna i slijeva. 20 Pitao je: ‘Tko će namamiti Ahaba da napadne Ramot u Gileadu i da ondje pogine?’ Jedni su predlagali jedno, a drugi drugo. 21 Tada je jedan duh stao pred BOGA i ponudio se: ‘Ja ću ga namamiti.’ 22 ‘Kako?’ upitao je BOG. ‘Bit ću lažljiv duh u ustima svih njegovih proroka’, rekao je. ‘Ti ćeš ga uspjeti prevariti’, rekao je BOG. ‘Idi i učini tako.’
23 Eto, sad znaš da je BOG stavio duha laži u usta svih tvojih proroka. BOG ti objavljuje propast.«

19 Micaiah continued, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne(A) with all the multitudes(B) of heaven standing around him on his right and on his left. 20 And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’
“One suggested this, and another that. 21 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’
22 “‘By what means?’ the Lord asked.
“‘I will go out and be a deceiving(C) spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said.
“‘You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord. ‘Go and do it.’
23 “So now the Lord has put a deceiving(D) spirit in the mouths of all these prophets(E) of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster(F) for you.”
