This is he who came (B)by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And (C)the Spirit is the one who testifies, because (D)the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree. (E)If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God (F)that he has borne concerning his Son.

The Certainty of God’s Testimony

Who is the one who conquers the world(A) but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?(B) Jesus Christ—he is the one who came by water and blood, not by water only, but by water(C) and by blood.(D) And the Spirit is the one who testifies,(E) because the Spirit is the truth.
