2 (A)By this we know that (B)we love the children of God, when we love God and [a]follow His commandments. 3 For (C)this is the love of God, that we (D)keep His commandments; and (E)His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For [b]whoever has been (F)born of God (G)overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.

2 This is how we know that we love God’s children: we love God and keep his commandments. 3 For this demonstrates our love for God: We keep his commandments, and his commandments are not difficult, 4 because everyone who is born from God has overcome the world. Our faith is the victory that overcomes the world.
