2 (A)By this we know that (B)we love the children of God, when we love God and do His commandments. 3 For (C)this is the love of God, that we (D)keep His commandments; and (E)His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everything that has been [a](F)born of God (G)overcomes the world; and this is the overcoming that has overcome the world—our faith.

God’s commandments are not difficult, 4 because everyone who is born from God defeats the world. And this is the victory that has defeated the world: our faith.
