18 (A)We know that (B)no one who has been [a]born of God sins; but He who was [b]begotten of God (C)keeps him, and (D)the evil one does not (E)touch him. 19 (F)We know that (G)we are of God, and that (H)the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 20 And (I)we know that (J)the Son of God has come, and has (K)given us understanding so that we may know (L)Him who is true; and we (M)are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. (N)This is the true God and (O)eternal life.
