1 John 5:16-18

¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother or sister ^[a]committing a sin not leading to death, ^(A)he shall ask and ^[b]God will, for him, give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. ^(B)There is sin leading to death; ^(C)I am not saying that he should ask about that. ^17 (D)All unrighteousness is sin, and ^(E)there is sin not leading to death.

^18 (F)We know that ^(G)no one who has been born of God ^[c]sins; but He who was born of God ^(H)keeps him, and ^(I)the evil one does not ^(J)touch him.
