7-8 Tatlo ang nagpapatotoo [sa langit: ang Ama, ang Salita, at ang Espiritu Santo; at ang tatlong ito'y iisa. At mayroong tatlong nagpapatotoo sa lupa:][a] ang Espiritu, ang tubig, at ang dugo; at ang tatlong ito ay nagkakaisa. 9 Kung pinaniniwalaan natin ang patotoo ng mga tao, higit nating dapat paniwalaan ang patotoo ng Diyos, at ito ang patotoo ng Diyos tungkol sa kanyang Anak.
