²⁰ If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For whoever does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? ²¹ We have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

5 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves the one born of the Father.
