1 John 2:24-27
New Living Translation
24 So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. 25 And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us.
26 I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray. 27 But you have received the Holy Spirit,[a] and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit[b] teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.

1 John 2:24-27
International Standard Version
24 What you have heard from the beginning must abide in you. If what you have heard from the beginning abides in you, you will also abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 The message that the Son[a] himself declared to us is eternal life. 26 I have written[b] to you about those who are trying to deceive you. 27 The anointing you received from God[c] abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you this.[d] Instead, because God’s[e] anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not a lie, abide in him, as he taught you to do.[f]
