1 John 2:24-27
English Standard Version
24 Let (A)what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then (B)you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he made to us[a]—(C)eternal life.
26 I write these things to you about (D)those who are trying to deceive you. 27 But (E)the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and (F)you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and (G)is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.

If what you have heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise which he himself promised us: eternal life. 26 These things I have written to you concerning the ones who are trying to deceive you.
27 And as for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you do not have need that anyone teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you reside[a] in him.
