1 John 5:5-9
New American Standard Bible
5 Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who (A)believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is the One who came (B)by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not [a]with the water only, but [b]with the water and [c]with the blood. It is (C)the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are (D)three that testify: 8 [d]the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are [e]in agreement. 9 (E)If we receive the testimony of people, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that (F)He has testified concerning His Son.

1 John 5:5-9
International Standard Version
5 Who overcomes the world? Is it not the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 This man, Jesus the Messiah,[a] is the one who came by water and blood—not with water only, but with water and with blood. The Spirit is the one who verifies this, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three witnesses in heaven—the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one.[b] 8 And there are three witness on earth—the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and these three are one.
9 If we accept human testimony, God’s testimony is greater, because it is the testimony of God and because he has testified about his Son.

1 John 5:5-9
New International Version
5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.(A)
6 This is the one who came by water and blood(B)—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.(C) 7 For there are three(D) that testify: 8 the[a] Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. 9 We accept human testimony,(E) but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God,(F) which he has given about his Son.
