For [a]whoever has been (A)born of God (B)overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.

Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who (C)believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is the One who came (D)by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not [b]with the water only, but [c]with the water and [d]with the blood.
