1 John 3:4-6

⁴Everyone who commits sin practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. ⁵You know that he was revealed so that he might take away sins,^[a]^(A) and there is no sin in him.^(B) ⁶Everyone who remains in him^(C) does not sin;^[b]^(D) everyone who sins^[c] has not seen him or known him.
