1 John 3:19-22

¹⁹We will know by this that we are ^(A)of the truth, and will set our heart at ease before Him, ²⁰that if our heart condemns us, that God is greater than our heart, and He knows all things. ²¹^(B)Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have ^(C)confidence ^[a]before God; ²²and ^(D)whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we ^(E)keep His commandments and do ^(F)the things that are pleasing in His sight.

¹⁹This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: ²⁰If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. ²¹Dear friends,^(A) if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God^(B) ²²and receive from him anything we ask,^(C) because we keep his commands^(D) and do what pleases him.^(E)
