1 Corinthians 9:15-18
Legacy Standard Bible
15 But I have (A)used none of these things. And I am not writing these things so that it will be done so in my case, for it would be better for me to die than have anyone make (B)my boast an empty one. 16 For if I proclaim the gospel, I have nothing to boast, for (C)I am under compulsion. For woe is me if I do not proclaim (D)the gospel. 17 For if I do this voluntarily, I have a (E)reward; but if against my will, I have a (F)stewardship entrusted to me. 18 What then is my (G)reward? That, when I proclaim the gospel, I may offer the gospel (H)without charge, so as (I)not to make full use of my authority in the gospel.

1 Corinthians 9:15-18
American Standard Version
15 But I have used none of these things: and I write not these things that it may be so done in my case; for it were good for me rather to die, than that any man should make my glorying void. 16 For if I [a]preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of; for necessity is laid upon me; for woe is unto me, if I [b]preach not the gospel. 17 For if I do this of mine own will, I have a reward: but if not of mine own will, I have a stewardship intrusted to me. 18 What then is my reward? That, when I [c]preach the gospel, I may make the [d]gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the [e]gospel.
