1 Corinthians 8:9-13
Legacy Standard Bible
9 But (A)see to it that this [a]authority of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the (B)weak. 10 For if someone sees you, who have (C)knowledge, dining in an idol’s temple, will not his conscience, if he is weak, be built up to eat (D)things sacrificed to idols? 11 For through (E)your knowledge he who is weak (F)is ruined, the brother for whose sake Christ died. 12 (G)And in that way, by sinning against the brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin (H)against Christ. 13 Therefore, (I)if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again—ever, so that I will not cause my brother to stumble.

1 Corinthians 8:9-13
International Standard Version
9 But you must see to it that this right of yours does not become a stumbling block for those who are weak. 10 For if anyone with a weak conscience sees you, who know better, eating in an idol’s temple, he will be encouraged to eat what has been offered to idols, won’t he? 11 In that case, the weak brother for whom the Messiah[a] died is ruined by your knowledge. 12 When you sin against your brothers in this way and wound their weak consciences, you are sinning against the Messiah.[b] 13 Therefore, if food that I eat[c] causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, in order to keep my brother from stumbling.
