1 Corinthians 3:18-23
Legacy Standard Bible
18 (A)Let no man deceive himself. (B)If any man among you thinks that he is wise in (C)this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. 19 For (D)the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is (E)the one who catches the wise in their craftiness”; 20 and again, “(F)The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.” 21 So then (G)let no one boast in men. For (H)all things belong to you, 22 (I)whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or (J)life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, 23 and (K)you belong to Christ, and (L)Christ belongs to God.

The Folly of Human Wisdom
18 No one should deceive(A) himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age,(B) he must become foolish(C) so that he can become wise.(D) 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness(E) with God, since it is written:(F) He catches the wise in their craftiness;(G)[a] 20 and again, The Lord knows that the reasonings(H) of the wise are meaningless.(I)[b] 21 So no one should boast in human leaders, for everything is yours(J)— 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas(K) or the world or life(L) or death(M) or things present or things to come(N)—everything is yours, 23 and you belong to Christ,(O) and Christ belongs to God.
