English Standard Version
15 Now I urge you, brothers[a]—you know that (A)the household[b] of Stephanas were (B)the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves (C)to the service of the saints— 16 (D)be subject to such as these, and to every fellow worker and laborer. 17 I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have made up for (E)your absence, 18 for they (F)refreshed my spirit as well as yours. Lexham English Bible
15 Now I urge you, brothers—you know about the household of Stephanas, that they are the first fruits of Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the ministry for the saints— 16 that you also be subject to such people, and to all those who work together and labor. 17 Now I rejoice over the arrival of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because these make up for your absence, 18 for they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore recognize such people.
