1 Corinthians 14:33-36
New Living Translation
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people.[a]
34 Women should be silent during the church meetings. It is not proper for them to speak. They should be submissive, just as the law says. 35 If they have any questions, they should ask their husbands at home, for it is improper for women to speak in church meetings.[b]
36 Or do you think God’s word originated with you Corinthians? Are you the only ones to whom it was given?

1 Corinthians 14:33-36
International Standard Version
33 for God[a] is not a God of disorder but of peace.
As[b] in all the churches of the saints, 34 the women must keep silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak out, but must place themselves in submission, as the oral[c] law also says. 35 If they want to learn anything, they should ask their own husbands at home, for it is inappropriate for a woman to speak out in church.[d]
36 Did God’s word originate with you? Are you the only ones[e] it has reached?
