1 Corinthians 14:33-36
English Standard Version
33 For God is not a God of (A)confusion but of peace.
As in (B)all the churches of the saints, 34 (C)the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but (D)should be in submission, as (E)the Law also says. 35 If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.
36 Or was it from you that the word of God came? Or are you the only ones it has reached?

33 since God is not a God of disorder but of peace.
As in all the churches of the saints,(A) 34 the women[a] should be silent in the churches,(B) for they are not permitted to speak, but should be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, they should ask their own husbands(C) at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church meeting. 36 Did the word of God originate from you, or did it come to you only?
