1 Corinthians 11:11-16
Legacy Standard Bible
11 Nevertheless, in the Lord, neither is woman [a]independent of man, nor is man [b]independent of woman. 12 For as the woman [c]originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman, but (A)all things [d]originate (B)from God. 13 (C)Judge [e]for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him, 15 but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering. 16 But if one is inclined to be contentious, (D)we have no [f]other practice, nor have (E)the churches of God.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
11 In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, and man is not independent of woman. 12 For just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman, and all things come from God.(A)
13 Judge(B) for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach(C) you that if a man has long hair it is a disgrace(D) to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory?(E) For her hair is given to her[a] as a covering. 16 But if anyone wants to argue about this, we have no other[b] custom, nor do the churches of God.
